Open Stakeholder Consultation - NEW DEADLINE

Open Stakeholder Consultation - NEW DEADLINE

The deadline of the JPI - CSA Oceans open stakeholder consulation has been extended to Tuesday 3 September.

The open consultation aims to collect the view of the marine and maritime community on the potential role that JPI Oceans can play in the European and international research and innovation landscape, including infrastructures for research and monitoring, human capacities and development of science to inform policy.

This open consultation is part of a broad mapping exercise that is being carried out by the CSA Oceans to provide support to the further development of JPI Oceans. We encourage you to engage in this process by responding to this online consultation. You may respond to the consultation on behalf of an organisation/ association/ project, or on your behalf, to reflect your personal views.

We are seeking your inputs on gaps and knowledge needs that could potentially be relevant to JPI Oceans, and your view on how to create synergies across Europe, and how to interface with other mechanisms for European and international coordination and cooperation. We are in particular interested in your viewpoints on how JPI Oceans can add value at European level to make better use of R&D and innovation related national investments and resources, including human capacities and infrastructures.

The inputs provided through this consultation process will be analysed to inform the development of the JPI Oceans Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda.

The questionnaire for this consultation has 4 sections that can be filled in independently from each-other (or skipped if not relevant to you):

  • Section 1: JPI added value
  • Section 2: Research, technology development (RTD) and innovation
  • Section 3: Infrastructure & human capacity
  • Section 4: Science to policy

The survey is now closed.

If you would like an overview of the questionnaire, or if you would like to collaborate with colleagues in your organisation, we have provided a Word document in the same layout as the online questionnaire. We recommend that you compile the responses of your colleagues on the Word document before you fill in the online questionnaire, since it is not possible to share the online version of the questionnaire with other users.

Please submit your responses through the online questionnaire, since that will facilitate the analysis of the inputs.  Deadline for the consultation is Tuesday 3 September.

For any question regarding the consultation you can contact Ángel Muñiz Piniella and Tom Redd
