JPI Oceans has been assessed as mature by the European Commission

After two week internal assessment of JPI “Healthy and Productive Seas and Oceans” the European Commission has concluded that, based on the input we have provided, JPI Oceans is mature.

JPI Oceans Management Board has 15 confirmed members

The JPI Oceans Management Board has fifteen confirmed participating countries (including the European Commission). Two additional countries have confirmed that they are in the process of assigning their representation and others have expressed interest in joining the JPI.

JPI Oceans maturity to be assessed by European Commission

Rudy Herman and Kathrine Angell-Hansen, Co-Chair and Director of the JPI Oceans secretariat, handed over a comprehensive dossier on the Joint Programming Initiative on Healthy and Productive Seas and Oceans to the European Commission on April 19th. The dossier has been endorsed by the Interim Management Board.
