We are happy to announce the publication of the webpage of the Horizon Europe candidate partnership: A climate neutral, sustainable and productive Blue Economy on the JPI Oceans website. The webpage gives a short overview of the candidate partnership and the recent partnership SRIA, but also links to all relevant documentation and rescources, in addition to points of contact and information on the timeline of the candidate partnership.

The draft Partnership Proposal was submitted to the European Commission in July 2020. Initial resource commitments from member states to the partnerships were made in autumn 2020. A stakeholder consultation contributed to the partnership’s Strategic Research and Innovation Agenda (SRIA) in November/ December 2020 and the SRIA drafting group finished the draft SRIA in February 2021. The Sustainable Blue Economy partnership is foreseen for inclusion in the Horizon Europe Work Programme 2021-22, as a co-funded partnership.
