Member Countries
JPI Oceans covers all European sea basins with 20 member countries and one observing country.
The following countries have representatives in the Management Board, the decision making governance body of JPI Oceans. Belgium, Croatia, Denmark, Estonia, France, Germany, Greece, Iceland, Italy, Ireland, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Sweden, Turkey and United Kingdom. The European Commission is a non-voting member of the Management Board.
JPI Oceans is open to all EU Member States and Associated Countries who invest in marine and maritime research.
