About the workshop
This second scoping workshop aims to establish broader consensus for the Joint Action implementation through an expanded participation of experts from JPI Oceans member countries. The workshop's primary objectives are to precisely identify addressable scientific knowledge gaps and to integrate social, legal, and economic considerations with the technical aspects of drilling and water quality assessment.
Through enhanced in-person participation, the workshop will facilitate comprehensive scoping of research priorities to inform the further development of the scoping action and its concept paper. This structured approach ensures thorough consideration of both technical and contextual dimensions of offshore groundwater research.
