Five JPI Oceans Underwater Noise Projects kick off their activities in Brussels

The BlueBio ERA-NET Cofund held a 3-day Advanced Training course in Marine Biotechnologies on 15-18 January at the University of Foggia, in Foggia, Italy. The course was co-organised by the National Research Council (CNR, Italy) and the University of Foggia (Italy), with the patronage of the European Society of Marine Biotechnology (ESMB).
Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership kicks off in Rome

From 23 to 25 January the network of 60 Partners from 25 countries and the European Commission gathers in Rome to discuss and showcase its planned activities. With the launch of the first joint call for proposals approaching in February 2023, the partnership will start an unprecedent effort to pool research and innovation investments and align national programmes at pan-European scale.

EOOS Resource Forum confers on sustaining ocean observing in Europe

On 7 December 2022, JPI Oceans hosted the second meeting of the EOOS Resource Forum. The EOOS Resource Forum reassembled national and European funders for updates on the latest developments in key ocean observing initiatives and exchange information about national funding activities related to ocean observing.
