Isabel is a Communication Officer at JPI Oceans, where she plays a key role in supporting the organisation’s outreach efforts. Her mission is to ensure that technical outputs are translated into clear, impactful messaging. She is also the communication lead for the Sustainable Blue Economy Partnership and MMinE-SwEEPER. With a background in policy communications, Isabel has advised technical associations and European institutions and completed internships at the Council of the EU and the Spanish Diplomatic School; her skillset includes managing press relations, delivering digital strategies, and organising political events. Creative and strategic, she is adept at navigating the EU landscape and turning scientific data into actionable insights for decision-makers.
