Two research projects launch to investigate changing marine lightscapes

The projects, ISOLUME and ALANIS, have officially launched under JPI Oceans' Joint Action on Changing Marine Lightscapes. Alongside, the complementary Knowledge Hub is gearing up to bring together expertise in this emerging field.

UN Ocean Decade Endorses JPI Oceans’ Changing Marine Lightscapes Joint Call and Blue Carbon Knowledge Hub ahead of Conference

In anticipation of the upcoming UN Ocean Decade Conference in April, JPI Oceans adds its two latest Joint Actions to its portfolio of endorsements under the UN Ocean Decade. The upcoming joint call on Changing Marine Lightscapes will be co-branded by the UN Ocean Decade, meaning that funded projects will be endorsed Decade Actions. The JPI Oceans Knowledge Hub on Blue Carbon has been endorsed as a project linked to the Global Ocean – Blue Carbon (GO-BC) Decade programme. This news comes as JPI Oceans prepares to contribute to the UN Ocean Decade Conference with three satellite events: the blue carbon dialogue session, a session on coastal resilience and sea level rise and an exhibition on underwater noise.
Two New Joint Actions in JPI Oceans
