Under the third and final additional call of the BlueBio Cofund, 13 projects were selected to amplify project reach and knowledge impact. The call is a smaller and shorter call, to enable a targeted funding call to organisations already participating in a BlueBio project.

The three European Joint Programming Initiatives (JPIs) on Water, Oceans, and Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) set up the ERA-Net Cofund AquaticPollutants to carry out the necessary research and innovation to address this challenge. A Special Newsletter Edition was published on 30 June 2023 to compile important information about the Cofund and its presented project results during the Midterm Meeting in June 2023.
