Intellectual Property Rights

The CSA Oceans project concluded that one of the major barriers for innovation, both at national and EU level, was the management of intellectual property rights (IPR).

These barriers can be overcome by implementing effective measures and plans for the management of the IPR and the exploitation of research results and data. It was concluded that is necessary to develop a framework to provide access to and share data and protect IPR.Therefore, this toolkit aims to facilitate the management of IPR and related issues in the development and implementation of JPI Oceans joint actions, by providing links to online sources of information, guides, manuals, resources and tools on IPR and connected issues, including different types of agreements.
