Types of Actions
Different types of actions can be adopted by JPI Oceans to reduce fragmentation and increase impact of research at a European level. This section of the toolkit presents an overview of different types of actions and information relating to their advantages and disadvantages.
The information in this section will help to select the most appropriate tools to develop an action within JPI Oceans. The level of information provided is intended for those already aware of the multiple instruments available. It aims to facilitate the design and management of actions by offering a range of guidance documents including:
- Description of the different type of action with advantages and disadvantages to explain the process and help with decision making;
- Practical examples;
- Templates (for peer review, calls, MoU etc.) which can be adapted to the specific needs of the planned activity.
