Paul Trautendorfer is one of the JPI Oceans Trainees. He primarily supports the work of the Joint Action on Munition in the Sea and works on the National Ocean Observing Charts under the mandate of the EOOS Resource Forum. His academic background is in Communication Science and Global Studies, where he focused on Maritime Security and Ocean Governance. Prior to joining JPI Oceans in 2024, Paul completed an internship as a policy advisor at the Permanent Mission of Austria to the United Nations. He is part of the Sustainable Ocean Alliance and is pursuing the goal of establishing an Ocean Hub in Austria.
